perception
While having early breakfast on Saturday with Asan, he suddenly popped a question
‘Bro. What do you think of me, when we first met at BOSET?’
A trick question, sounds like one. But then he continued with,
‘Well. People always mistakenly thought that I was arrogant. Even my girlfriend, thought that at first.’
Sigh.
I felt like giving him a big grin.
It’s normal bro.
The law of common educates people to be such, to judge things from the first impression. I had mine too, well…as being the C type of person really conveyed the message of being introvert to the crowd. But that doesn’t mean we are unapproachable or carry that big of arrogant thing.
Sometimes, I do feel offended when people come to me and said such perception they had at first. Sigh…such luck for them, able to display the sparkling big ass-sign of ‘I’m such an easygoing’ or ‘I’m friendly’ on the forehead and then winning the crowd.
May be I believe that I don’t stick to the idea of first impression tells everything. May be I have that much faith that people that I meet are kind and good enough.
The important thing is, each and everything that happened is the result of our choice. What we have decided for our good selves.
You want to be seen arrogant? You want to kick them ass? Whatever it is...you choose.
