the missing chapter of december 06

Holding me from writing for weeks clearly stacked a number of stories in my mind; I found it quite a factor to mess me up in choosing the right ones for December entries. A cliché excuse of busy really bites me now as it put some regret for not able to share list of thoughts here.

Again and again to tell, December had been a busy month for me, with works, training, long break etc. really put my pen off, and even I have GeMuk with me since early of it. Honestly, I rarely had the time to comfortly browsing and updating my blog in the office lately. Stacked of works, endless reviews and discussions etc. punished me from such. Well, at least now I’ve become quite an ethic worker for not taking the internet privilege for such personal thingy. Sigh.

Anyway, I spent the last week of the year with quite a number of breaks. One was the trip to melaka with my family during the Christmas break and the other one was Eid-break in Kuala Terengganu.

My parents didn’t the get opportunity to go for hajj this year and planned for the melaka trip, as a replacement. Hmm… even I was thinking to spent the break on my own here, I opted to join them as felt it’d been quite sometimes we haven’t been on family trip, since I moved to KL. But cha and kak long didn’t join us.

Most of Melaka was still ‘wet’ and part of it still flooded during our trip there. We rent an apartment in Bandar Hilir and our time there was spent quite well there. I mean with the exclusive lunch trip at Muar, then seafood dinner at Umbai, visit to Cuita’s in Merlimau, the shopping and a brief Yang Berhormat visit to flooded area of Sg. Rambai, while on the way to muar. Hehe. But mum had some problem with her leg and couldn’t walk much, so limited our tour in the city.

My plan to photograph the trip especially the historic part of the city didn’t work out as I only had myself enthusiastic to delve the city by foot. May be I should plan a trip on my own later. Back to KL, I joined them visiting our relatives, before they went back to trg on 26th.

Half of the office were on long break that week and I could spare some of my time doing some analysis etc., before Adel came and annoyed me with his bossy-request, and before my boss came to me asking me to prepare something on production enhancement matters, which by default was not under my custodian. I hate that so much as it bugged my planned to concentrate on my unfinished issue etc.

Anyway, asan didn’t go anywhere during the Christmas break and spent his time with his Eleanor. At first, as he couldn’t get his Eleanor new engine, we planned to go back for Eid together with my BabyJazz, but then as he received the confirmation on his induction program to start right after the break, he opted to stay and settle his Eleanor matters first, plus to avoid the rush and tiring due to the journey. But then kesian pulak, to know that as all his friend went back and nobody around during the Eid. Kedai pun tutup and put me bit worry when he told me the ‘makan maggi only’ thing as he had gastric history.

I went back to Ktrg with Cha that suddenly decided to come to KL, joined his friend attending this music fest at Sunway Lagoon on Friday. Hampeh. I mean he confirmed with me that he wanted to join me back as I was about to depart. The trip to Ktrg that day felt long as we didn’t chat much (he slept most of the time).

This year, I joined mum for the qurban and spent the whole day of Eid ‘with the meat’. The feeling was great, as that was my first time did the qurban thing and involved by helping the crowd with the meat. That night mum cooked our portions and invited our relatives for dinner. It’d been quite a tiring day for us as I ended up with waking up late on the next morning, and hell it was a new year!
